About The Three Wheat Heads Inn
Upon entering the magnificent restaurant, you can see breathtaking views of the Simonside Hills and Coquet Valley directly outside. Perfectly situated to admire the view, the large windows flood light through the dining room where you can watch the stunning scenery from your table.
You can eat in style and elegance in our restaurant with its traditional and extensive menu, or in the superbly furnished lounge bar. Steaks, fish, seafood and game are all on the menu, complimented by an excellent wine cellar.
Great emphasis on the quality of food throughout the Coquet Valley and Northumbrian produce is demonstrated in the traditional style cuisine. Most of the produce used in the restaurant is grown locally. Our meat is supplied by local farms. We have some of the best chef’s in Northumberland cooking the excellent cuisine demonstrating the wide range of local ingredients and produce that Northumberland has to offer.
