Family day at Blagdon Hall on Sunday 10th August, 10am – 3pm

Entrance is £3.50 with all monies raised donated to Changing Lives, a national charity which provides specialist support for thousands of vulnerable people and their families every month. Enjoy tea and cake, craft stalls, entertainment, tractor rides and a cricket tournament. Explore the beautiful grounds of this private estate, not normally open to the public. Summer Zoo Club, Monday 5th – Friday 9th August, 10am-4pm

A whole week of events to bring out your inner zoo keeper! Every day there will be different activities for you to join in with including helping the keepers with their daily checks, feed the lemurs, training the cockatoos and walking the Shetland ponies. Book between one and five days, the choice is yours!

£30 per day with a 20% discount when booking all five days, open for children aged 9-15, lunch included.

Dragonfly Zipwire which is being held in the grounds of Alnwick Castle, Northumberland on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of August 2014.

 The event will be an exciting summer activity for both children and adults and proceeds will be going to brightening the lives of children and young people with cancer.

There is a registration fee of £10 which you are able to do online, and minimum sponsorship is £50. This can be done by getting in contact with Josie's Dragonfly Trust on 01434 602043 or emailinginfo@josiesdragonfly.org.

Activities include Show tent with prizes awarded on the day, refreshments, Dog show, local painting and arts, children’s craft tent, Climbing wall and bouncy slide, free face painting, car boot sale and classic vehicle display.

Heighley Gate Vintage Car Show

Heighley Gate Garden Centre, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 3DA on Sunday 17th August, 11am - 4pm

Kay’s Ceilidh
